Tips For Having An Event Catered By A Burger Restaurant

Posted on: 3 May 2022

If you're planning any type of special event and are stuck on what to serve your guests, you can't go wrong with burgers. Hamburgers are easily customizable and are sure to please all of the attendees, no matter what their age and food preferences.

Burgers make a versatile event food because party-goers can tailor their meals to reflect their personal tastes. You can also serve them for both lunch and dinner, and even as snacks or appetizers at late-night or between-meal events.

Since burgers are handheld and easy for guests to eat as they mix and mingle with each other, they make the ideal party food. You can serve them at any type of special occasion, such as kids' and adults' birthday parties, holiday celebrations, family reunions, graduation and anniversary soirees, bridal and baby showers, and even wedding receptions. Burgers are easily adaptable for both the most casual to the fanciest events.

Burgers also work into any event-planning budget, since you have plenty of options. You can either make them yourself, especially if you are hosting an outdoor event with grills, or have them catered by your favorite local burger joint.

Here are some tips for having your event catered by a burger restaurant if you decide to go that route:

1. Consider Guests' Dietary Preferences

When placing your party menu order, consider any of your guests' dietary concerns and preferences. There are so many different types of burgers available today, including soy and vegetable-based varieties for vegans and vegetarians, that no one will go hungry.

If someone doesn't eat beef, turkey burgers may also be available. Also, provide some gluten-free buns if anyone requires them.

2. Consider the Meal

Although burgers work as a meal around the clock, you can specifically tailor your menu to the type of meal. For instance, if you want to serve just appetizers or small plates at a cocktail party, go with sliders. These mini burgers are still full of flavor and may be topped with all of the same condiments, but are just more bite-sized.

For an elegant dinner, such as one served at a wedding reception, provide plenty of gourmet toppings, such as fried eggs, housemade pickles, avocados or guacamole, fire-roasted peppers and tomatoes, caramelized or pickled red onions, gruyere or brie cheeses, pesto mayo, and even grilled mango or pineapple.

Serve the plain catered burger buffet-style, and have guests build their own burger to their liking.

Visit a local restaurant like Brewsky's  Broiler to try some burgers.
